💳 Payment, currency and deposits

Cash is still king inside the markets; bank transfers are for production orders.

1. Stock goods are paid on the spot: cash RMB, WeChat Pay or Alipay; cards are rare.
2. Production orders usually need 30% deposit and 70% before shipment.
3. Pay only to the bank account printed on the booth's official invoice, never a personal account given by phone.
4. Exchange money at the airport or a bank; the exchange desks inside markets give poor rates.
5. Keep every receipt and packing list — you will need them for customs and for any claim.
