🗓 Plan the trip: when to come

Two full days is enough for most buyers if you know which markets to skip.

1. New stock arrives in March–April and September–October; January is clearance season.
2. During Canton Fair (April and October) hotels double in price — book three weeks ahead.
3. Chinese New Year (late January / February) closes the markets for one to two weeks.
4. Fly into Guangzhou Baiyun Airport; stay near Guangzhou Railway Station or Beijing Road.
5. Bring a spare phone with WeChat installed, a power bank and a folding hand cart.
